I'm warming to the idea a bit but it's still very uninspiring from what I thought would happen with the new owners.

Yeah but he's also proven to be a bit garbage with a club in trouble, a-la Sland or Sociedad. If (hopefully not, also) we do get him I hope we don't see those sides of him.

However, "a bright and exciting future" and then hiring David Moyes is a proper gut punch.

Apart from you everton where he took over and made us one for the best teams in the country on a budget of £3m a year.

Or when he took over relegation bound west ham twice and made them into European cup winners and constantly in europe.

But yeah hes obviously terrible over struggling clubs.

Lets forget Sunderland promised him loads of money, then after he signed basically went in to administration then sold his entire defence from under him and they werent relegated till 4 games to go which isnt too bad considering what was going on at the club.

The difference between Moyes and Dyche is fans are moaning about Moyes when finishing in the top half.

Dyche isn't capable of building past the relegation battling stage, Moyes spends 80% of his seasons in the top half of the table and has a long track record of having a good eye for a player.

Dyche doesn't know what it's like to take it beyond where we are now, Moyes knows what a team finishing 6th-10th consistently looks like and needs.
But he de doesn't have a bulletproof record in avoiding relegation scraps from this start points.

If he starts his knife to a gunfight shebazzle now it'll be the Sunderland-era Moyes we risk getting.

Cars was at some rugby managerial event today so highly unlikely he's in contact with the Friedkins, since taking over at Everton would have him cancelling all over events while the process gets wrapped up. It's sadly 100% Moyes coming in.
