Let's have it right.

Everton as a club is far different to the club it was when Moyes left.

And Moyes is far different to the manager he was when he left.

Let's just all get on eh?!

Probably a very similar club to the one he arrived to in 2001 though. Think that experience will do him good.

LOL

I haven't read anything by him for about 14 years and he still detests Moyes.

Christ.

Sorry for sharing from another site, just made me chuckle.
There are other Everton sites?

It was a difficult appointment tbh. Dyche had made his position untenable so had to go.

A progressive manager would be asking too much of this side mid season.
A left field appointment could well see us relegated.
We aren’t an entirely attractive proposition just now either.

I can see the logic of Moyes.
Fair assessment. I have no clue how the remainder of the season pans out. What I do know is Moyes will need some additions in the January window if that it feasible

If it is moyes it's the worst decision in the clubs history. Worse than benitez. At least then you could argue an upside (ignoring the obvious disgust) that he had a winning background. Moyes has failed everywhere since he left us.

There is no possible positive here. At best he keeps us up with turgid football then hangs on and stinks out our new stadium whilst spewing negative bile along the way. But he has no more pedigree of keeping us up than any other random - he took Sunderland down and West ham a few points above us binned him off as clearly they felt anxiety in that regard.

Even Howard #3 had a ridiculous sentimentality about it.

Do one Moyes please

Not even in the top 100 worst decisions in the clubs history.

It’s going to be very interesting. There are some who were once enemies who now might become allies, and vice versa. It will freshen things up
