I honestly wouldnt mind him being here until summer and then move upstairs to take over for Thelwell. If there is one thing we can all agree on is that Moyes definitely had an eye for talent.

Then again, I really don't want him back to begin with. It's just so.....meh. It's the option that Blue Bill would have done that has held the club back for the last 30 years.

An awful decision which is such a backwards step. Imagine a brand new ground with new owners and the first game is led by a manager who was first appointed 20 odd years ago and after he left then tried to stiff us for two of our best players.

As a club we can never look to the future if we don't let go of the past.

I get what you're saying mate but if Moyes came back it's not Moyes's fault that he should end up being in the dug out 23 years after he first arrived. That's down to the mismanagement of the club. We can point fingers at Moyes when he left in fact he probably went stale IMO but it was a bit a lot sneaky when he went meeting with Man U and then came back for Baines and Fellaini it wasn't nice. I've forgiven.

How long is his contract going to be? I can’t find anything on that
TFG will probably want to offer him a contract till the end of the season, Moyes will probably ask for at least 18 months so he can manage us in our new ground or get a good pay off if TFG have someone else lined up for the summer. Ultimately nobody knows until it's announced.

A lot on no votes but if the question was posed from available managers right now then I don't think there would be so many "No's", hard look past Moyes for me.

How can the new owners mismanage the club after only 3 weeks in charge. It is such a poor move that straightaway divides the fan base and shows no acumen or sense. To me this just drains all the optimism of the ground move. I thought the theatrical sentimentality died with Kenwright but apparently not and I can't get my head around why anyone in charge thinks this is the best move.

Do I really want the new owners to take massive risks trying to be bold and appoint someone other than Moyes when we're 1 point or so off the relegation zone? No.

I'd rather get Moyes in who knows the club, is very experienced, and has a history of getting results and taking bottom half teams and turning them into top10 teams.

That's my stance. I trust Moyes more than most to steady the ship and have us more well drilled and playing at least slightly better football
