He’d be fine.

Remarkable how many Evertonians think the club can just stride into a new era, unencumbered by our perilous position. We need to stay up, and that is all that matters. Moyes will do a little better with our squad than Dyche, which will be enough.

The man who truly turns our fortunes around is the appointment after this. Or maybe the one after that.

Moyes looks to be signing a shorter term deal by all accounts, so we have the chance for a proper reset in the summer. Moyes is a good decision to see us into the new stadium in my opinion

It’s probably the most boring choice we could’ve gone for, but probably a necessary evil, given the hole Dyche has dug us in.

I’m convinced they’d have gone for someone a bit more bold if we could’ve waited until summer, or if we didn’t find ourselves dangerously close to the drop zone.
It's as uninspiring a choice as they could have made and will immediately drain the little optimism I had.

No. West Ham binned him off twice for good reason. There's plenty of managers of of contract and he'd be bracketed with O'Neil/Lopetegui.

He was due to come back last time too until Ancelotti become available.

He biggest driver of it is solely his connection with the club. It's like Ranieri at Roma.
West Ham have binned him off twice, and twice found the grass wasn't greener. His CV is quite clearly a massive step up from O'Neil and is on a par at least with Lopetegui, who we would also be interested in.

I'm not keen on Moyes, he wouldn't be in my first 5 choices, but you're massively overestimating just how desirable this job is to managers if you don't think he'd be considered. Moyes, Lopetegui, Fonseca, Potter. They're all about the same level.
