They hate him at United too. Think he's the catalyst to their downfall.

He's our version of Benitez
Somehow it's Moyes' fault and not the fact that SAF decided to retire.

Ferguson won them a PL title with players like Tom Cleverly. He was a one a of a kind manager and no one could have maintained his level of success for them.

They sacked Moyes not even a year into his contract and it's been almost 11 years since.

We don’t have a squad capable of playing the modern game. We need someone to take what we have, immediately vibe with what we have, and keep us up. Someone to do just a bit better than Dyche. Yes that’s boring, but it’s where we are.

I also probably agree with this view, as depressing as it is.

No. This is how you never improve and end up where we are now. This mindset right here. The same exact crap was said about Dyche. If he had been slightly better at balancing both sides of the ball- even slightly we would not be in this mess. We have dropped way too many easy points because of this mindset

Moyes came in and decimated the staff for his own and alienated senior players who had won stuff. Hindsight is wonderful but it was a terrible decision by him.

He has seasoned now, is probably his last major club job and think he would do well.

It’s probably the most boring choice we could’ve gone for, but probably a necessary evil, given the hole Dyche has dug us in.

I’m convinced they’d have gone for someone a bit more bold if we could’ve waited until summer, or if we didn’t find ourselves dangerously close to the drop zone.
This absolutely. I have no doubt in my mind Moyes wouldn't be on the list if it was June. But in the position we're in, now, in January - especially if they somehow get him on only a 6 month contract that leaves open their original plans for the summer - who realistically is going to come that's better?

Hire him as a director of football then.
Maybe that's the thought - 6 months manager to keep us up, move upstairs in the summer? Would be interested in that, tbh.
