Yeah that's why we went and signed Jo twice on loan, as there were no other options in all of Europe.
I don't know who else we could attract with the wage/transfer restraints. As much as I hate to say it we were hardly an attraction to the creme de la creme of European football. We still won't be under Moyes 2.0 until we can get European football on a regular basis.

So we had consistent European football under Moyes but didn't have the European football pull that literally everyone else has even for a loan?

Which one is it?

Dyche was on 5mill a year mate , they pay good wages

I mainly agree with you, but Moyes' approach to playing away at Arsenal is pretty similar to Dyche's. I can remember in our peak Moyes years when we were 5th in the table, going away to teams 1 or 2 places above us in the table and playing with no bravery as if we were relegation fodder. We even approached games against the RS like relegation fodder when we were above them in the table.

It was still nothing like Dycheball. Yes we had an inferiority complex but we did used to go these places and have shots at goal, and even god forbid, used to score occasionally. Here you go.

Not comparable to Sean Dyche cowering on the edge of the box and praying Pickford has the game of his life I’m afraid. Under Dyche we had an inferiority complex against bloody Bournemouth never mind the top 4.

The disrespect for Moyes in this forum is unreal.

We have been an absolute mess since he left bar 2 seasons (Martinez 1st and Silva 1st) and would kill for the seasons West Ham had under him.

I understand people frustration but Moyes in to sort us out and lead us into BM makes sense.

That's not really true by the by. In general I agree with you, but Moyes was equally as stubborn - when he found the Bainaar cheat code we relied on it so much that if either didn't play the team looked clueless 90% of the time.

Same with the coveted 4-2-3-1 that he's used since about forever ago too.

You mean the tactic that he came up with? Yeah, if he didn’t use his own tactic then we would’ve been crap mate.

But we where 5th in the league.

I cant remember what it feels like to be in the top half of the table.
