Fair play.

Most of the places he failed at I can see why.

Man Utd (Wasn't given time (as his reputation wasn't big enough for them to be more patient) or the same finiancial backing bigger name managers have been afforded, therefore a self fulfilling propechy)

R. Sociedad (language)

Sunderland (They sold players out from underneath him, and broke promises they had made) I don't think any manager would have kept them up with the board\players they had at the time)

I don't mind him being here long term if he's successful. Same goes for any manager.

Would ideally prefer a more (attack minded )
soon ;)
manager but our current situation doesn't really facilitate that.

Bracket them wherever you like, like so;

... Point is, none are the right people to progress Everton from this summer.
Another fantasist, have a look at our last three managerial shortlists, that is people who actually applied and not clickbait fantasy manager links our fans make up or wish for.

Some of our fans need to come back to earth.

That’s not accurate, I don’t think. Martinez played Barkley extensively who had only played a handful of times under Moyes, brought in Stones who had never played under Moyes, signed Barry on loan, signed McCarthy and had Delafeou until injury - all key players . Throw in Lukaku and there were huge changes to the team under Martinez. That first season was our best since the 80s. It obviously crashed and burnt within time but Martinez was great that first year.
Yeah, but Moyes signed Stones when he was just coming through - wasn't he his last signing? And he handled Barley's development well by allowing him to go out and get experience rather than just keeping him on the bench.

Can't believe my fume is aligned with DaveK here, but here we are.

Fool me once...
I always read it as Davek, as if he is a Ferengi from Star Trek!

(Sorry Dave!)

Turned Baines and Coleman into some of the best fullbacks in the league. Jagielka and Lescott became England internationals under him. He improved numerous players.
