The sale of Fellaini

Fellaini was booed off and rightly so.

We're everton. We do not tolerate a lack of effort. ****eness we can deal with. But we don't care who the player is, one of our best players or one of our ****e players, we will never put up with his 'performance' yesterday. We pay far too much money and put in far too much effort to put up with that.

This. It's not about how bad they were its all about the lack of effort. I have never seen us so uninterested for god knows how long.

Is it true he put two fingers up to the paddock section after his awful misplaced pass in the 2nd half - some one on RM mentioned it was the reason for him being subbed hence his dart straight down the tunnel?

It's not like he picked Neviile though, that was a real two fingers to the crowd

I was in the Park End and from there I thought he had made some sort of gesture to fans in the Paddock. Meanwhile, play was going on behind his back. Unforgiveable.

Have I got this right: Fellaini (comfortably Everton's best player alongside Baines, and who's carried the team on scores of occasions) has a nightmare game by his standards and tops it off by not reacting to his own intercepted pass - this makes him a disgrace who deserved booing and possibly should never play for Everton again (or should at least be sold asap)?

I know people are upset at the failure to get back to Wembley but there's some seriously flawed *reasoning* going on here.

It's the Everton way.

Whilst I agree he should not have turned his back, he also does not deserve a public flogging, there were other deciding factors yesterday as to why we were humiliated at home to Wigan, this wasn't one of them.

Thats about the gist of it mate

Watch him be cheered off after scoring the winner against City

Looks like the relationshop between fellaini and the fans might be broken which is a shame and will only lower his transfer fee.

Fellaini has been carried on multiple occasions throughout his contract. He's not comfortably our best player alongside Baines. When he hasn't played we've played well if not better.

Jagielka
Baines
Gibson
Jelavic on form
Mirallas

Easily more important for me. Would you see any of them turning their back on the ball? Running down the tunnel coz they don't agree with a substitution, head butting and punching opposition in plain sight of the referee.

I don't think we 'll miss him at all and our style of play will become much better when he leaves. We need a proper number 10 (potentially Barkley) and a top quality striker.

I'm f*cked off with him because I've been watching him builiding to this for weeks. I watch his body language live and it's often not good. He's been playing below par for a long time now as well. I'm certainly not knee-jerking here, don't know about anyone else though. You also forgot the bit where he apparently abused the fans. The people who pay his wages.

If they booed me after pulling me tripes out for them for five years I'd tell them to **** off too.

It's not Fellaini's fualt that the defenders constantly boot it up to him(I use that loosely because they very rarely hit their target). To be honest if i was him and I had one or 2 defenders up my ass every game and still the long balls were coming, i'd be frustrated too.

Turning on the fans is a no-no we all know that but he was frustrated with the way we were playing and his own individual performance, at least it shows a bit of passion just not in the correct way.
