The state of some of our fans

Well that depends doesn't it? How far away were the stewards/police? Something tells me that you wouldn't racially abuse someone when there's a copper in full uniform standing right in front of you, even these tossers don't sound that stupid. And even if they were close why in the f*cking hell didn't somebody just grab one and say "those d*ckheads up there are racially abusing someone"?. A few pissheads would've come out second best against a few thousand fans and a group of trained officers me thinks.

Can't be passing the buck straight to officials here, everyone should have played their part in getting them arrested and kicked out of the ground.

I hope you don't use language like that at the match.

Tone it down eh.

I remeber a few seasons ago me and my mate an two of his mates I'd never met before went to Sunderland away. All the tickets where payed for on my account because we did it online. Anyway get to the match and this 17 year old lad who is my mates gf's little brother who came with us starts spouting the most rasist bile I have ever heard from a young lad in the end I told him to knock it off and he did.

Two weeks later I get a letter giving me a warning be suze of rasist behaviour tbh did ring them and get it all sorted but alls people have to do is take the seat number and report it is all. Not having a pop but just in the future for anyone who hears this there thing that can be done with out putting yourself at risk.

I have to say, as someone who goes to about 25 games a season home and away I have not heard anything that could be construed as a racist verbal attack or chant for years and years. Obviously you still get the sort of shout like the one that got the lad banned for calling Saha French (!), but real racist abuse - nah, I've not heard it for many years. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Whether its racist abuse or anything else that makes a supporter feel uncomfortable it's one of the downsides of all seater stadiums that you can't just move away and watch the game from elsewhere.

Here in the States you can text the section number of someone causing problems and security and cops will usually be showing up pretty quickly. This maintains anonymity. Anything like this in the UK?

In sporting events in the US you still hear plenty of BS, especially at American Football Games. However, the few times I've heard Racist rants, this in diverse South Florida, it usually doesn't end well for the ranter. In one case it went to the parking lot, and the ranter probably wished they'd been escorted out.

Over in England they'd probably put your seat number on the big screen and call you a bad snitch. FTM lid.

It's no use reporting it to the club days later, the perpatrator will just deny it then it's your word against his isn't it.

It is a tough situation for an individual to stand up to a couple of idiots, I'm sure a whole bunch of negative situations ran through his mind, but there really is no place for that type of language these days. As was said by someone far smarter than me " The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing".

They have yeah, just a shame the signal at Goodison's useless.

Should of pretended to go for a piss and informed the biggest black copper/steward he could find asking for 5 mins to get back to the seat before the cavalry arrived discretely lurking in earshot.

Cnts like this can't keep their Klan gobs shut for more than 2 mins and soon enough he'd let rip - be terrific watching the loon getting carried out by his bollocks.
