Dutch Toffee

Not worth a penny
Our very own wizard from South Africa. Let's just hope he signs a new contract, as he's in superb form for us. Unbelievable engine on him, he's just everywhere on the field.

Knew he was a good player from his Ajax days, but he's nothing short of magnificent for us.(y)

someone mentioned yesterday here that he maybe thinking of leaving us after the summer. Hope that's not true. He'll be the only reason i'll be looking for southafrica's games at WC

God is great, but so is pienaar!(y)

I'm a huge fan. What a bargain and what a player. Thank god we didn't get manny on a permanent otherwise we wouldn't have had him

Change the name to Fellaini, and I'm all ears. (y)

Not that I don't love Pienaar, but just disappointed that our best player isn't getting the recognition he deserves.

Lescott was a jerk in the end. I expect better things from Pienaar,he'll stay

Can't say I agree. He's just a professional footballer who wanted to better himself, as he saw it - more money, more chance of silverware & more chance of Engand caps. Pienaar & the rest are just the same, apart from the England bit, of course.

It's up to the club to manage these situations to the best effect for Everton. Ultimately the end result of the Lescott deal has worked in our favour, but what a shame that deal & the others that seemed dependant upon it weren't concluded more swiftly & with less acrimony & disruption.

You seem right there but it's a lesson to be learnt from lescott for the other players IMO that money isn't always gonna make you Ryan Giggs with trophies and all is it? Lescott's been poor..poor than Darren Moore of derby county if you remember eversince his move.Look at Jo on the other hand,he was at citeh too..wouldn't he wana go back and enjoy his salaries and easy life..but he has openly declared how loving the fans are and how welcomed he has felt here and that's more important..he can atleast prove himself here now..Pienaar can't be joining Inter,Arsenal or any of those..he'll waste himself there..he's not a worldclass player still IMO and Everton is the perfect place for him

Nope.
I miss this.
