I read the interview he gave and it seems Saints have broken a lot of promises they made to him.

I'd say for 10M€ this is a very good move considering that Moreno or Saw would cost 25-30M€. People in Spain used to compare him with Jordi Alba and called him for a 'clone' - very good at attacking and can cover the left back and the left wing. He's a Guardiola transfer, five years deal must be a signal that he's bought as an replacement for Ribery in the future. He's better defensively than Jordi Alba is and I'm pretty sure they didn't sign a talent of his caliber just to be an backup.
