Still unsure on Pochettino. I will have to give him the benefit of the doubt i suppose & see what happens!

In other news - various papers reporting we received an extra £4.5mn for Modric & £6.5mn for Bale because of Real's victory in the CL. I love Levy (sometimes).

Hell of a deal if true!

were you cheering on atleti at the time?

i read it was a combined £15m from your official twitter site.

From BBC Sport's Luke Reddy: "Should Tottenham land Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager, he will not be boosted in the transfer market as a result of the success of former players and Champions League winners Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.

"Spurs did not write any form of clause into their contracts which would see a bonus paid based on European success early on in their careers at the Berna Beu.

"Bale, 24, left White Hart Lane for a world-record fee in September, following in the footsteps of Modric, 28, who moved to the Spanish capital 12 months earlier."

or not?

That is not EXTRA money, it will already be quoted in the bloated fee's at the time.

Just like us getting £28 Million for Rooney. Some of that come 4 or 5 years later.

The report TOTAL deals....meaning what it finally will hit. Reports that they only paid £30 million upfront for Bale.
