It's quite possible BT edited the ad for a different reason, such as time constraints or they decided to pull it because they think its likely he'll move. Wouldn't be anything to do with concrete information. I know bills not Albert Einstein but I doubt he'd phone up BT and tell them we're flogging Felli!

Everton could lose out on Wigan defender Antolin Alcaraz - with Malaga and Werder Bremen also keen on him.
The Paraguay international defender is available on a free transfer this important summer and new Toffess boss Roberto Martinez was expected to take Alcaraz with him to Goodison Park.
However, talkSPORT understands that both Malaga and Werder Bremen are ready to challenge the Merseyside club for his signature.Talks are ongoing between Everton and the defender’s representatives, but Spanish outfit Malaga and Bundesliga side Werder Bremen are willing to offer the 30-year-old a lucrative contract and a new challenge abroad.

I'll second that.

aren't we abroad for him?

The party line for Martinez coming in was "He's got much better defenders to work with now". So the first player he goes for is a Wigan defender?

Sorry, that's ridiculous. I'd rather someone in the youth team get promoted

Alcaraz isn't worth taking a bite out of the transfer budget

Here's hoping someone else buys him

He was mostly in the treatment room when those goals were let in, like.

He can't use that excuse for the previous 2 seasons though...

I said earlier I'll go with Martinez judgement, but I have to ask would any of the clubs above us, or even any of the 3 below us, be interested in signing this fella?

If they were we wouldn't get them.

Those same clubs (liverpool, spurs and the top 4) weren't interested in gibson, arteta, pienaar, jagielka, distin, lescott, fellain, coleman or baines. Spotting talent who other clubs dont' fancy, for various reasons, is how we operate.

(Though admittedly they also weren't interested in brett angel or per kroldrup.)
