What would be more valuable to our season next year?

Fellaini
or
£20+ million for transfers

?

Fellaini.

He is worth 40 million in the current market IMO. I honestly don't think Moyes used him correctly. I would play him deeper and allow Mirallas to go further forward. I am not sure a striker is what we need either. Jelavic/Mirallas have goals in them (Jelavic was poor last season though). I would sooner we bought someone to compliment Coleman down the right... and Leroy Fer.

We have supporters of all ages though. Some are youngsters who only started following the blues during Walters rein so to them it must seem like Moyes was the second coming who gave them a very good side to support.

Others, me included, whilst still acknowledging a very good job Moyes done, lived through the days of winning trophies so are not as easily pleased.

Aye that's a good point that. Fair play to them for being Everton staunch. Ive at least seen us be boss so that fuels these barren years.

We should def keep him if possible. Bill should/might find enough for 2 quality players without selling. We need to build by adding quality players to the ones we already have.
That being said if the release clause is met there's fcuk all we can do about it

£40 million for Fellaini???

Not a chance!

Well everyone needs to give Marinez a chance instead of writing him off before he has even took charge of a game.

Andy Carroll -- 35 million
Stewart Downing -- 20 million
Jordan Henderson -- 20 million

Gareth Bale -- 85 million?

I don't think 40 is too unrealistic for one of the top European midfielders. I would certainly see him as value for money over the above players.

Be fuming if we sell the 12th best player in Europe for 20 mill, only to see it spent on wigans 3rd best player, a couple of fossils on a free, and new version of blood brothers

Exactly. 20 million doesnt get you much in this day and age.

Look at how much Hulk and witsel went for last year, I rate Fellaini higher than both of these.

Even if we invested it in Fer he would need time to adapt, and if he does well we are back in the same situation. The more top class players we have, the harder it is for other clubs/the media to turn their heads.
