Familiarity. Kendall (1) was the last manager to leave without being sacked and that was very sad. Moyes has done well but he really should have won something (UEFA Cup 08 for me). Imagine if Everton fans feel like this about a stable yet unspectacular manager, how Man U feel replacing Alex Ferguson!

I think Alcaraz will be the first signing and I hope we can still sign Fer, hopefully to play in the same side as Fellaini (Gibson will not be fit all season and we need another class option).
 
To be honest it is blatantly obvious he is either slightly backwards, over emotional and easily offended. Or a kopite. Or even all of the above. I might get banned or whatever for saying this but it's blatantly obvious.

Do you know Everton Football CLub existed before David Moyes? Also that we actually won things before King Davids glorious reign???

We have supporters of all ages though. Some are youngsters who only started following the blues during Walters rein so to them it must seem like Moyes was the second coming who gave them a very good side to support.

Others, me included, whilst still acknowledging a very good job Moyes done, lived through the days of winning trophies so are not as easily pleased.
