The agent of Inter Milan midfielder Joel Obi has confirmed that clubs in the Premier League have enquired about the Nigeria international.

The 22-year-old has made 48 appearances for the Nerazzurri since signing from Nigerian lower division club NEPA Lagos in the summer of 2010.

His 2012/13 season was badly disrupted by injury though, restricting him to just three appearances and forcing him to miss the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Despite his injury problems Premier League duo Newcastle and Sunderland have been linked with a summer swoop in recent weeks.

His agent, Renzo Contratto, has confirmed clubs in England have enquired about the player, who is now fit again, but insists that his future depends on Inter.

"I can say that Joel is a player liked in the Premier League," he told FC Inter News. "The guy had a difficult season but now is fine.

"He will leave for the Inter pre-season and then we'll see what the club wants to do.

"Obi is an Inter player and has a contract until 2017 but from now to the market's end, no one can predict what will happen".

Hope it's us, he's the tits.

Voetball saying that a Leroy Fer move is still on.

I certainly hope so. I'd love to see him do this in the pre-match warm up.

I think Leroy Fer will be our first major signing. There may be a freebie or Two come in first but Fer will be very much still on the radar I believe.

The fellaini situation could end up a real pain in the ass this summer, as much about our transfer plans could change/depend on what happens with him.

I really hope your wrong on this mate, if we are to sell him, lets get it out of the way early doors and get the proceeds spent. I just hope its not left to deadline day, as we'll never see the money again.

Won't be surprised if Fellaini leaves, but I can't help thinking if the top teams rated him so much he'd already be gone. Moyes has a whole new spectrum of options available to him, so be interesting if he doesn't go in for him. I can see Mourinho liking him, but again he has a lot of options. As usual I think it's mostly the media trying to sell our players.

Montpellier president has confirmed that there has been offers from clubs in England for Younes Belhanda, said he is available for about 10-11 million.

If Fellaini went I'd like to see him brought in, hopefully we are showing interest.

Thoughts?

Fer will end up at west ham, newcastle or fulham somewhere where the manager scouts moyes's targets RM wont have another felliani type player in midfield
