most of my aquaintences are male, so I know what you were suggesting, but I prefer just to give them a box of chocolates and maybe a Woolworths online gift card. I am a perfectionist, you know.

Can't understand why some people are so adamant McCarthy is gash. I think he's a good player: decent passer, decent tackler and got a great engine. I'm not saying he's anything special but he's a very decent PL player who would do well for us. Also, he can only get better. For me 6 million would be a good bit of business.

I think there are very few saying he's gash...What people are saying is he will cost to much for a player who's shown to be a good standard PL player. Yes he's young and could very possibly improve BUT like many a other may not.

Your talking a minimum of 10M but knowing Wigan probably more. Now if we have 10M to spend on a CM I think in the here and now there are much better value for money deals out there.

McCarthy is a big NO from me, not because he's gash, just wouldn't be the right deal for us. He'll no doubt end up with splinters in his arse on spur's bench!
