Is the correct answer, we have lots of decent little players who can pick a 2 yard pass and shoot like a 5 year old girl.

We need a door unlocker and a slotter, McCarthy is neither of these.

I agree we badly need a striker, but I also think our central midfield options are poor. Gibson has done well, but you never know exactly how many games you'll get out of him.

I think we definitely need to strengthen central midfield.

I see Fellaini as a CM, and always have. Perhaps that's why I see that as a less of a priority position.

I'd still like to see a central midfielder with something between his ears brought in to play alongside him though. As I said, I'm not sure how many games you'll get out of Gibson and although I like Osman, I'm not sure I want him as a regular starter in central midfield.

If he stays, I doubt Bobby will play him in the SS role.

I had faith in Moyes at the time so I did not moan at all. And it is inappropriate to use Baines as example because none of the Wigan players have the same quality.

That's one of the reasons I'm not too disheartened with the prospect of the Moyes-to-Martinez transition.

I feel it worked at first and it should have been used now and again, but Moyes stuck with it for far too long and in the end most teams found us out and Felli just got pissed off.
