Source of that information: Our former Director of Communications Paul Tyrrell.
But if you don't believe anything that comes out of the thespians mouth, why believe anything that comes from someone who essentially works for him?
Or are you just picking and choosing quotes so it conforms to what you think?

Bill Kenwright said he wouldn't sell Rooney for less than £50m and that Kirkby would be 'effectively free'. I wouldn't trust a word that comes out of his theatrical mouth.

True enough, I don't really know why he felt the need to mention anything about our players contracts in the first place.

Seeing as they're two different people i'm not seeing the issue here. Or if i think your boss is a liar does that automatically make you one too ?

I was simply explaining where the information came from, if Coach thinks Tyrrell would tell a bare faced lie re: our merchandising deal then he can go and challenge him.

The quotes you use are absolute proof of support of your argument, somebody else quotes somebody and "can't trust what comes out of his mouth". Yes, they are two different people on two different subjects, but why is your set of quotes so much more reliable?

You sort of answered your own question there, really.

Good point, the fact that my boss is a liar and I am as well is pure coincidence

I didn't really did I? It doesn't make your quotes definitive does it?

I'd say that Tyrell saying we get commission on kit sales is about as definitive an answer as you'll get without looking at the contract. If you don't believe him i'm not really arsed, i was simply pointing out where the information came from.
