I'd say that Tyrell saying we get commission on kit sales is about as definitive an answer as you'll get without looking at the contract. If you don't believe him i'm not really arsed, i was simply pointing out where the information came from.

We get commission on sales after a certain number of sales, but we also get an 'up front' fee as well. We do therefore, get more income from shirt sales than we ever did when it was 'in house' When we have a team and facilities that lead to greater merchandise sales, consideration will no doubt be given to bringing merchandiding back in house. Contracting out, however is common in football,in fact Man City and other clubs have a deal with Kit Bag, and Sodexo provide catering at many major racecourses, the British Grand Prix, The Open Golf, and other football clubs.

I'm not arguing about the value of outsourcing mate.

You said we found the money for Fer, we never signed him.

You said the fee was 15 million, it was 8.6 million.

You said he failed a medical, he never.

You got it wrong, just accept it.
1) just because we didn't sign him doesn't mean we didn't have the money. I.e. we still made a bid.
2) ok yeah
3) technically it was for medical reasons we didn't sign him
4) I'm not fully wrong, I just used my own words to express what my view is in different ways.

Wrong again, we tried to get the terms of payment changed at the last minute.

From what I heard we had 3mil and offered instalments deal. So we never had the 8mill to begin with and we didn't sign him for medical reasons we agreed a deal then tryed to be smart arse cheap skates as this we are known for and twenty rightly told us to do one when we asked for a loan deal. Tbf I'd be surprised if we had the 3 mil in the first place.

I always think that, but then again where did we find the money for Fer in January?

£8m transfer for Fer would have been only about £1.5/£2m MUF. The rest in instalments.
The installment frequency and value was the cause of the disagreement between Everton and Twente.

Fer - wasn't there drug issues as well ? he was not that seriously injured after we did not buy him he played again -
good player but suspect charecter

Mind you the pualinho and vryda links might be absolute jarg but its nicer to be linked to better players than absolute tosh

How the hell can you trademark a celebration you didnt invent? I used to do it all the time after an epic match on PES I scored a last minute winner against me mate and The player did that celebration that was about 5-6 years ago. It's like the yak trademarking his bird celebration loads of people do it. Money grabbing little troll.

Anyway what's this paulinio like any way? never heard off him.

Well, it's not exactly the celebration. Well, it sort of is. It's more the logo he is trademarking, which pretty much means **** all.

Sky Sports News website have a piece on Martinez. Read into it what you will, but I hope it's not a signal that there will be very little activity in the transfer market by Everton. Obviously transfers need to be well planned and thought out, but it just seems to be the same as what we've been hearing for the last few years. It would be nice to hear the club come out with positive comments and say they have a shortlist of 'x' number of targets that they are actively pursuing for a change.

Roberto Martinez will only target players of a specific DNA as he attempts to make his mark at new club Everton.

The 39-year-old, who has cultivated a reputation for playing attractive football, was named as David Moyes' successor earlier this month.

And now Martinez is working hard to bolster the Toffees' squad, though he won't be making any decisions in haste.

"There is some work going on already and over the next few weeks we need to make sure that we bring the right characters as well as the right players to the football club," said the Spaniard.

"It's not going to be the case of bringing anyone at any time - it's important we identify the type of help we need in the dressing room and in the team.

"We must make sure they are a type of footballer who will fit in with the train of thought at Everton.

"It's more a matter of finding the right players and that will take a little bit of time."
