Don't think there's much chance of hin coming here. As he stated he wants first team football. Can't see him coming here to compete with Howard for that spot. Has probably more chance of becoming first choice at Atletico in the short time. Courtois won't be there too long.

I think long term he could be the ideal replacement for Howard, think we should take a chance on him personally. From what I seen in a poor Wigan team, defensively he done well.

He liked to play a different team at Wigan, their goal was to stay in the League, he has different goals and resources at Everton.

I tell you what, with Spurs on the brink of signing Paulinho, their midfield is well over-crowded. I'd stick a cheeky bid in for Sigurdsson. Think he is a class act who had limited playing time last year, with even less this year if AVB is going to play this 4-3-3 formation that Spurs fans reckon.

Frustrating sometimes to think we wallow around for scraps from teams like Spurs. Their midfield is incredibly loaded and they are already looking to strengthen in a big way with Paulinho. So their midfield alone is Bale, Dembele, Sandro, Holtby, Sigurdsson, Parker, Dempsey, Livermore, and surely I'm forgetting others. Nigh impossible to compete with the quality and depth of the teams above us.

I can't see them parting with Dembele or Sandro. Only those that can't meet their lofty standards (Livermore, Sigurdsson) and those who are getting on in age (Dempsey, Parker).
