Can de Guzman play anywhere across the midfield? Haven't really seen him play is he any good?

He is probably the most suited to box to box role, but he's quite versatile. Unfortunately reason for his versatility is lack of development in recent years, he is not a player I thought he will be in 2-3 years.

Bojan Krkic would be a huge disappointment and comparing him to Pedro is way off - the latter is much, much better player and he would do well in Premier League as well. Not the most technically sound, but offers great workrate and he's very efficient with converting goalscoring opportunities.

A Goalkeeper isnt on my list this Summer, make next Summer, but we have more pressing matters.

We dont NEED to spend 10m on 1 to sit on the bench tho.

We have 2 young lids in the Reserves, sink or swim time for them.

Theyre both not ready. I don't want to spent any serious money on a goalkeeper, but we do need someone with experience as our number two. Maybe Mark Schwarzer or someone like that, or someone on a free.

So no one heard anything new on these De Guzman rumors?

Seen a quote before (could possibly be bull****) that when asked about a possible move to Aston Villa (Belhanda) he went on to say about how he really like the prem and that he would have to see what comes up. If anyone i think Honda would be the best one to aim for as he has the quality and also will be cheaper than a lot of the others due to him apparently only having till December on his contract.

The fact that Howard is 34 is no cause for concern since he´s fitter and more athletic than almost any other keeper in the league bar a few I can´t be arsed to come up with. Howards weakness is his concentration and decision making and that´s always been the case. He´ll make a couple and stomach turning gaffs along with a couple of world class reflex stops next season just as he did this one.
