We assume we have about £10m to spend without sales. Being one of the positive members on this forum I believe it will be a bit more. Somewhere between the 15-20m I guess. Hopefully we'll be able to flog Johnny £2m and maybe Naysmith also for the same amount. Plus whatever we can get for Gueye.

I'd love to sign Bony. From what I've seen of him he looks an absolute monster. But is there any actual interest in him? Or Honda? Or Redmond? Or Alcaraz?
99.9% of paper rumours are jarg, but they still implant desire in us. And then we're ultimately disappointed when we don't sign these players.
So I'm going to sit back and just see what Martinez comes up with!

Of course you're right in that, just playing the manager here. Imo Bony is probably the cheapest alternative for a possible 20 goals a season striker for us. As I said this morning, there' s always a risk. But again you're right, nobody knows what Martinez's plans are and who he wants to bring in.

People are making alot out of the 3 already departed players and our squad. As if we're 3 behind already before we even start. I don't think that's really the case.
Mucha - Yep a back up GK has gone and HAS to be replaced, nothing more to say about that.
Hitz - He was brought in as cover yes but to replace Barkley who could then go out on loan. Once Barkley came back from Leeds and was on the bench, Hitz was very rarely anywhere to be seen.
Neville - He was a squad player and back up to Gibson really. So he does need replacing with an extra number in midfield.
I think 6 CM players is adequate for us. Currently....

Add Fer or simlar, lundstrum could well be on the fringes next season too and there's always pienaar aswell.
Obviously we do need additions but not as desperately as some think in the CM posistions. There's other additions which would help plug the CM ie bringing in a couple of wingers allows for mirallas to play 10 and pienaar to play CM or 10.

Although most of this is jargtastic, Fetfatzidis is a player I'd like here. He's a lot better option than McGeady for 4m.
