According to our sources that Manchester United have submitted another bid for Leighton Baines within last 24 hours. We can't confirmed if the bid has been rejected or accepted by Everton football club.

According to my sources, Manchester United submitted a bid late Friday night for Leighton Baines. My sources and I can confirm, the bid was rejected. We understand however, that United may return with an improved offer in the next 48 hours.

I like this game. Who's next?

We cannot lose Baines no matter what the bid is, losing Moyes and Fellaini Is bad enough, to lose three would just make Martinez job first season so much harder.

If United have bid again then at least they're trying to get it done early, which gives us a chance to plan replacements. If Baines is going to go it changes our transfer possibilities. Maybe we shouldn't buy Kone or McGeady yet, as really they are just 'fillers' needed for if Big Mo & Bainsey were staying.
Agreed. As frustrating as it is for supporters, I'd hold fire until the future of both Fellaini and Baines has been resolved.

There doesn't seem to be many clubs interested in signing Fellaini, certainly not at the frequently changing release clause fee that Fellaini says doesn't even exist.

Can't see Arsenal stumping up that figure, whether it's supposedly 22, 23 or 24 million, and no other clubs seem to have much of an interest in him.

Not that I like the thought of our star players going like but....

I can't think of a better signing for arsenal than fellaini, exactly the kind of player they need. Hope wenger doesn't want him tbh but with a release fee of 24M I think arsenal are mad not getting the deal done.
