It's a shame about Honda, looks like we didn't act quick enough and I doubt the club approached him or his team.

It's not time to worry, I'm glad that Martinez isn't chasing Tom, [Poor language removed], Harry or John, Rick and Barry or Don, Mick or Larry. We are pacing ourselves and its not like we need to bring in 5-6 players, we need 2-3. That is provided we keep Baines and Fellaini.

Now, wouldn't you rather keep these players? To me that is the equivalent of a major signing. I think that's the route Martinez will go down. Keeping these players is more important than buying anybody.

I could be way off mate, just used transfermarket thingy for the prices, it isnt always the best source of info with regards fees, cant seem to find any other info anywhere else.

The same was said about Holtby, its wrong to compare them, cos they are different players, but Martinez will have different targets maybe.

Who knows, maybe we did talk to the lid or maybe we Bobby doesnt rate him.

Not that old chestnut. You simply can't afford to stand still. Others you can bet your bottom dollar will be improving so we have to also otherwise there's only one direction that this club will be heading and it isn't up.

It's not standing still, it's staying strong. It's unlikely we will get a better left back and a better midfielder so I say to keep them, we can strengthen our forward line without breaking the bank. It makes sense.

Are other teams really strengthening? They are buying players but who's to say they are gonna be any better than they were last season.

Throwing around the chequebook doesn't make you better. The teams below us will never be better than our current squad.

Liverpool will have a very good chance unless we strengthen significantly.
