Personally I'd be having a little look at the likes of Freddie Kanoute or David Trezeguet. If we were able to pair either of them up front with Nelks we'd be away.

yes yes, Im just a gullible person.

I was screaming whole january like " we will have atleast 2 signings this month, if we want to race for europe it is a must" and i really believed club would ensure those vital signings.but no.

It would be good to do business early thAt peeps can mix it up with bobby and our new system.

The problem is, we have the same Board, it was never Moyes dithering, it was always a lack of funds to actually go out and make signings, fairly sure we need to wait for some money from Sky or the FA before we do anything and normally around this time of Year we take a bridging loan to get us through the months of no turnstyle revenue.

I doubt anything will happen untill we get a few outs.

Sometimes they surprise us, but just consider the 31st August 10pm as the start of Evertons transfer window and then you wont be dissapointed.

Sadly you might be right. Optimism in me is pushing through, though.

I have already done my mourning conserning Felli, so im just waiting that we get it over with and do some vitalising business afterwards.

I think the fact that he's only played for a few months is why we should be able to get him at a reasonable price. Zaha cost £10m with a possible further £5m in add ons because he'd been playing for 3 years and developed a reputation. The most obvious area lacking in McManaman's game is goals and he's shown against us, Spurs and West Brom that he can finish. If he manages to do it regularly and tears up the Championship his price could well double in a year's time. Martinez will know him well and will know whether he's worth a punt or not.
