I agree that Kone hasn't looked great. Jelavic has looked a little better but besides his goals I actually think Anichebe has been the better player.
Vic against Juve was great, but he is a striker that wont score goals. I think Kone fit, is sort of a trade off of both of our strikers, in that he can finish though not quite at jelavics standard and hold up the ball not quite as well as Vic. He has an eye for bringing in players as well from what ive seen.

Surely all the more reason to take his performances with a pinch of salt seeing he's barely played, then?

Of course mate, im only joking really, only an utter weapon would judge somebody on 2x45minutes in pre-season, but I must admit, I dont consider Kone to be a good player, thats not to say he wont score goals, the way we will set up should provide all our strikers with ample chances to score.

Fair enough. I agree with BMG though in that I think Kone could be a kind of mix between the other two as he can hold up play, he's got pace and can score, whereas Anichebe can't score but has pace and power and Jelavic can score but doesn't seem to have much else.
