He'll become a better player at utd & win things which will be nice/hard to see.

He will NOT become a 'better player' at United. That's a media perpetuated myth - the same BS they used about Rooney.

Rooney - as his England performances have clearly demonstrated - actually lost something when he moved to United. OK, there may be the moment of absolute brilliance now and then, but he lost a lot of pace in the space of 2 seasons, and the 'individual' racing-from-the-half-way-line-breaking-back-of-net goals were replaced by more 'functional' finishes.

Also Baines will not 'win things' at United: he will simply play for a TEAM that wins things.

There is a MASSIVE difference.
