Only just found the time to get stuck into this, needless to say gotta read it all at once. What a story mate, really is.

Great work. Seriously bought a tear to my eye, that.

My ma used to tell me about my Grandad going on and on about "little curly Alan Ball" when she first met my dad, staunch blue that he was. For one too young like me that really bought some of those days to life.

I wouldn't worry about whether you've done the little ginger fella justice. That was a genuinely moving tribute.

Double ace.

Thank you , lad .

Nice of you , kid .

BEAUTY.

This Cubs fan can't help but mist up and think of Ronnie Santo, reading this, kid. No greater tribute, from me. You don't know Ronnie from Seabiscuit, but you'd have loved him, lid. As a player, he was pure QUALITY, coupled with the competitive heart of a lion. We lost him less than a month ago, and we miss him so, already. It won't be the same without him living and dying with the team he loved his whole life, each inning of each game, over the radio.

You GET IT. Takes one to know one, y'know?

I'll raise one for Bally, if you'll raise one for # 10. Deal?

Two men whose star shone brightly in the same time. They'll live in our hearts as long as these hearts beat.

Hell . YEAH , Dawg ...

I like Icons , generally - bein' one meself , of course ....

Mate, i've only just got round to reading it. That was incredible, to say the least. I'm finding it hard to describe how that makes me feel.

Thank you so much for these. Really.

I'm talking to someone via text , lid .

ASHES , Too ....

Ahhhh, fair play then. I wish I got cricket. I get so far with it, then someone says something like "a duck" or "over" and I get all confused.

Enjoy it anyway mate. And I eagerly await your next sermon. You making any inroads into getting them published or anything?

I'm amazed how you can improve these week on week considering they've been mesmerising from the outset. This one just blows the roof off it's so good. Fantastic and really makes me wish i'd have been around to experience first hand the greatest of them all, being born in the '70's though this is as close as i'll come although the way it's written sometimes it feels pretty close to actually being there. Nice one Lcab kid.
