DeRosario in the MLS always reminded me of Cahill. Even though I hate Coca-Cola New York or whatever they are called he's hoping he has the same impact as DeRo.

We don't really do that type of thing in the PL. Mostly the number starts to carry a significance, Like being Everton's no.9 is a big, big deal.

Agreed. Don't see it getting retired, nor should it. But it will always, always be synonymous with Tim Cahill and anyone brave enough to give it a shot better be willing to carry the meaning behind wearing it!
