Ive just been speaking to two Torontonians a minute ago.

They were ace but struggled with my accent.

Leccy = Hydro

Half past five = Five Thirty

They thought I was an Aussie too.

Go Mega Toronto FC!

Finally - TFC win away from home at Real Salt Lake. Final score 2-1. Winning goal (penalty) in the second half courtesy of Colin Samuel (ex Dundee United - played for Trinidad & Tobago at the World Cup last year).

excellent result. hopefully time for the wind of change to take effect.

Toronto drew 1-1 at Chicago last night. Dreadful game, very few scoring chances. Chicago scored from the penalty spot midway through the second half, then Toronto levelled around the 80 minute mark (Maurice Edu). Toronto should have pinched it in added time when Collin Samuel, with only the keeper to beat, pulled his shot so wide it almost hit the corner flag.

Tx Bill, where are you?

Toronto FC held Houston to a goalless draw on Sunday evening, despite playing the last 50 minutes with 10 men. So the expansion team, new kids on the block, took 4 of 6 points from the defending MLS champions.

TFC have now played 5 consecutive away games, and are unbeaten in the last 4. One more to go then back home.

Get in there CT, and may I welcome Toronto the world of football crazys, buy more shirts, learn to chant, to pee into a narrow neck lemonade bottle standing up. Boy you are on your way.

Yeah sorry for not responding sooner as I've been away.

My wife and I were walking out the door to that match when some nasty storms hit. Seeing as how it's a 20 mile drive to the stadium, we just said screw it and watched on TV.

You knew it was gonna be one of those matches after Ching hit the post. After the red card (deserved or not? who knows?), Mo just had 'em pack it in even more and we couldn't get through.

Oh well, hopefully it doesn't hurt the defending champion's quest to repeat but well played to TFC.

We play Club America tomorrow night in the first round of the Superliga and I expect a big turnout as CA has supporters all over TX.

(Did you happen to catch our match against NE this past weekend? Great game and ended 3-3 with 5 goals in the 2nd half. A great one for the neutrals.)

Missed that one, Tx. I hate New England for obvious reasons - definitely would not have been neutral.

Apparently Villa will field first choice team against TFC tonight - perhaps we can nobble Reo-Coker or something :)

As usual, thunderstorms passing through the area as we are getting ready to head out to the stadium.

Stayed up late to watch both Superliga matches last night and the LA Galaxy were surprising against Pachuca and came away with a 2-1 win (without the injured Becks).

Not bad at all.

And chalk one up for the Dynamo.

1-0 win against Club America. Decent crowd at just over 18,000 with storms around the area.

What channels do the games get televised on? I will see if I can get them over here then. Maybe build up an MLS goal video database on the site.
