Yeah I watched the match last night. Great crowd.

Toronto just couldn't get the ball in the back of the net. Xavier looking like a great signing for LA. LA really never threatened though. They're gonna need a few more players than Becks to help 'em.

I believe the LA Galaxy are playing DC United tonight in a nationally televised ESPN match.

Sold out (45,000) crowd hoping Beckham makes his LA debut. So do I as I'll be watching it.

He won't play. Too much of a risk of re-inuring the ankle. They may dress him on th ebench, but it'd be window-dressing at best.

Dynamo vs. Pachuca in the Superliga semifinals tonight. We've got a lot of injuries combined with a poor run of form.

If we come away with a win, I'll be ecstatic. However, my head says we'll lose 2-1.

Just watched the FSC Fox Soccer report, and saw the goals in the TFC vs Red Bulls game. Not pretty, 3-0 to the New York team. Angel getting another, and what on earth was your keeper doing for the third?

Got worse on Saturday - lost 2-0 at home and never really looked like scoring. TFC now 5 minutes away from MLS record for the longless scoreless streak.

On the positive side, bumped into 2 lads wearing Everton shirts at the game. They were on holiday from Liverpool, and it was really nice to exchange views in person with fellow blues - a very rare experience for me. Told them about GOT, hopefully when they get home they'll join up.

Nice to see CT jnr on board CT snr     (y)

It's official - TFC now hold the MLS record for longest scoreless streak. I have now decided not to bath until they score - CT Jr. be warned!

I caught the LA Galaxy match on TV whilst in "Torono" (only one T ;) ). Even though it was 0-0 it was an alright game, I was surpised by the quality really. I was expecting it to be on a par with the League 2 hoofball that we get in Lincolnshire, but it was entertaining stuff. If only the TFC strikers could hit the proverbial cow's arse with the proverbial banjo...

Longest scoreless streak CT, and this is with a Welsh international on your books (see latest selction list)

I was in Toronto in July to visit my brother and went to a few U-20 world cup matches [Round of 16 ARG-POL (Aguero is taken, can we please sign Maxi Morales for another Euro team does?), USA-URU, and the USA-AUT quarterfinals]. BMO is an awesome stadium. If DC United would get something like that built I'd go to alot of matches. TFC matches look pretty fun (though admittedly it would be nice if they had someone who has a strike rate > 0.1 goals/match)

Hey how about Duncan Ferguson with your player exception?? - Dunc was the Wendell Clark/Tie Domi of football, the fans would worship him and in the MLS he's probaly still good enough to put 12+ goals in a year. If I go back up next summer I'm going to try to get tickets for a TFC match.

sounds good except that Mo will never go for it. He still seems to think that the lump of useless sand called Colin Samuel who doesn't run and the only control he has is controlling himself from trying to play the ball, will score and is worth having on the pitch. It would be nice if he did get ferguson but right now samuel is his baby and he is never letting go it seems.
