We're off to Florida in just under 3 weeks; 9 nights split between the beach areas of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. First time in the USA. The only two definites booked so far are a full day trip to the Everglades and the first night of Iron Maiden's Book of Souls World Tour!!

Sounds fantastic, then you mentioned Iron Maiden, unfortunately I can't better Fantastic.


Bruce Dickinson lMO, has the best voice in rock. In fact the only person who has a better voice is his hero Robert Plant.

I always took Bruce to be much more influenced by Deep Purple and many Maiden and solo albums songs in particular have been sung with more than a considerable nod to Ian Gillan.

After Bruce's cancer ordeal and the long gap since having seen them last time out at the Main Square Festival in Arras in the summer of 2014 (actually the second to last gig they played since they stopped going on the road for various reasons) I vowed that I was going to see them somewhere mad on the World Tour. After working out the best dates in terms of work, location, the weather and getting Mrs TD signed up (who has now seen them three times with me) then Florida it was!
 
Just putting the final preparatory touches to a 12-night trip to Canada (first visit to the country). 4 nights each in Montreal and Toronto (day trip to Niagara Falls from the latter), and 2 each in Quebec City and Ottawa. Will get to see Montreal and Toronto FC both play at home in the MLS, which is s bonus.
 
Can't wait to get to Goa. It'll be nice to have a social conversation in English. One week without has got me feeling like Bill Murray in 'Lost in Translation'. Minus an attractive young blonde.

Honestly, I've stayed in hostels on this trip and they've laid on a feast, the hotel I stopped at in Gangtok laid on a feast. So what's this feeble excuse? Bad rating ahoy.

Yeah, back home on the 12th after ten days on the beach in Goa. Flight from Calcutta in the morning at 8, so thinking of staying the night at the airport. Would make things easier and the airport is rated as brilliant since its refurb.

Also, after my train ride on Friday I'm pretty much able to face anything.

Booked Kos the other day, seven nights A/I in a four star at the end of May.

Wouldn't go anywhere but Greece/Greek Islands - soundest people on Earth.

Will be taking a decent amount of spending money because I will feel guilty contributing 0 to the local economy atm.
