Just north of Brisbane, like I said, 35mins normally.
Started with the thunder and lightening about 3 am, it may be a long day until bed time.
It's all turning a bit political, with an election imminent, QLD ( lab) blaming the Feds in Canbera (tory-lite) for not releasing more aid quicker.
The truth is they were all caught on the hop.
One flooded out guy interviewed, said he got his cheque last week for the floods of 11 yrs ago.
Governments - Don't you just love them.
But when it rains a foot a day for 3 days what can you do.
It's nothing new though, theres been floods going back from 18 whenever, just people have short memories.
And of course the climate change Johnnys are all over it, like it only started happening in the last 20yrs - like the droughts...and the fires

Right time of year but we're not North enough for a proper monsoon, I'm no meteorologist, but it's just a rain rich low that's rolling down the E. Coast or as we call it 'Kin Queensland weather
