McClaren can go, he can take englands worst striker ever - peter crouch, with him. Lampard can go, and joe cole can go.

why HRH becksy is in the squad is a unbeknown to me, this is a hell of a game to throw at carson, and why, oh why, oh why, is the little striker that shouldnt have gone to the world cup last year not involved this evening?

sounds like HRH and defoe are coming on, i hope to the high heavens he doesnt turn this round in some fairytale performance that sees england resurrected in a manner unseen since lazarus.

they dont deserve it, and if nothing else at least next summer will be devoid of those england flags for cars.

Suits you have said some crap in your time, but this is the worse. Beckham should have been on from the start because he like it or not made a difference. Nobody in the England side can play a first time cross like that. No one, he was tackling back, and then when the rest of the side committed hare kare - then there was no way back.

You tell me to think about my posts. Maybe you should do the same!

your so right, in 30 minutes he looked goosed, so have him on for 90.

mind boggling.

to continue the theme...

''A tale of two keepers" ?

robinsons balls up in croatia, arsons balls up at home to croatia.

i blame the FA, they made a complete horlicks with sven, they took the easy option of then giving the job to what i can only describe as 'emu' to svens 'rod hull'.

the big time charlies coasted along on reputation without earning the three lions with sweat and blood on the pitch.

england out could i hope be the best thing for the england national side for the years thereafter.

its time to wield the axe and remove the dead wood.

yeah one cross, a fantastic assist and what else?

england still lost, so the difference was negligible.

hes a big time charlie and sets a woeful example.

To be honest mate there is a time and a place and it is almost like giving a two fingered salute to an Everton fan after a loss. The majority of people on this forum are English and England fans. Play fair suits

so can someone tell me why mcclown changed from 433 when we were 2-0 down to 442 then we get back to 2-2, then we go 2-3 down so mcclown goes back to 433!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but imo we looked a better (wasnt hard i know!)side at 442 beckham was getting involved,we looked more like we could score anyway!!

so mcclown goes back to 433 ****!!!!

suits he ended up in a 3 man midfield mate and he was [Poor language removed] there but still better than the other 2!!

when he was on the right i thought he did very well all be briefley!!

lets see if you get castigated for questioning saint becksy.

merde. !

as for revelling in englands defeat and the knock on effect of no championship heartbreak next summer - thats super by me.

the current setup is inept, and scraping through on the coat tails of minnows like israel is hardly 'land of hope and glory' stuff.

time to wake up and smell the management.

Well let me use an example for you- Italy.

They barely qualified for the world cup in 2006- they got in by beating Australia in a play off. They went on to win the world cup. Yes we didnt deserve to get in, but, we are still England and I am English- who knows what would have happened if we had got there.

Suits you are so wrong, Beckham made a difference, I cannot recall SWP making one cross, can you? Anyway as it turns out this is Beckhams last game for England or should be and for others as well.

Crouch actually took his goal very well and he was the only attacker who was troubling their defenders, so give him some credit. He and Campbell were our best players over the 90.

The worst players IMO and I do not want ever to see them come near an Everton shirt are Bridge, Cole and Lampard.
They sucked, is it a coincidence that when Lampard plays it some how falls apart?

Defoe was a waste of space and TBH Bent was hardly any better. I kept thinking to myself and you may all call me for it, but if Vic had opted for England and he had been on the bench waiting to come on!!!!!!!!! Look at what he throws into his game for Everton.
