My great uncle put it all together a few years back, then passed it on to my Dad when he died. There is a guy on The Wirral who does local talks on local history, and he got in touch with my son via FB and asked him for details of our bit of the story. Bit creepy really.

I think we can conclude this. Chester has extended it's empire and swallowed the Wirral whole hence the postcode recognition of that. As Chester is almost Welsh, so is the Wirral.
