Yakubu's goals to games ratio in his first season for us was fantastic, and his following season was cut short due to THAT injury. He's never been the same since that, he lost that yard of pace. I honestly believe that had he not had that injury then we would still be looking at a 15+ goal a season striker, such a shame.

We could have done with him recently and I think he could have formed a decent partnership with Beckford if given the chance, they could have complimented each other well. Ah well...

Wasn't goal ratio, it was most goals in the premier league as a current player I think. (could be wrong).

When he was at Pompey, Harry had a bet with him that he couldn't score 20 in the season, he got a hattrick last game to make the wobbly neck pay up.

Moyes' biggest mistake this season was letting Yakubu go out on loan.

Not really, Beckford has only been here since July so 9 months in total.
