I havnt heard of him over here lads but i know one or two of the lads from the Shels youth acadamy and ill ask them about him.

My first impression is that he must be [Poor language removed] hot as the 100.000 barrier is rarely crossed except for the really best players in the leauge of Ireland, very rarley between clubs in the division.

To put it even more into perspective, Shels are one of the biggest clubs over here and have been champions more over than not over the last few seasons. In the summer the clubs debts spiralled wildley out of control, they were forced to break up the team and couldnt afford the 35,000 fee to play in the top flight. Thus being relegated to the second division as a result of breach of rules.

So lets put this way for them to hold out for 100,000 really means they didnt want to loose him considering that mney will probably keep them in existance for a few years.

Kevin Doyle when he signed for Reading went for 200,000 and he was the leauges top scorer playing for the champions cork city. This kid is only 16 for that money he must be good.

I can't see him signing for us at all, Christ if he is scared of "eh im afraid of ginger jimmy in first year in d wheelchair" he'd [Poor language removed] himself at ginger DM who's stood up :P :P

Jack Rodwell too - its all looking good. But wot is it wiv all de txt speech. [Poor language removed] winds me up. So has it come to this? Technology is turning all out kids in to [Poor language removed] idiots. Speak properly for christ sake. Wiv or With it took me an extra millisecond to spell that correctly.

Are we evolving into a new specie where language is evolving at a similar rate? And what is it with these black people on tv? That bird on Eastenders can't say Asking right, and that crack head whore on big brother (who is related to that [Poor language removed] some of us want to sign) says Drownding.

FFS TBH it does my head in!!!! ;)

where to begin, that was a solid rant, and im impressed and then a touch worried.

Species.

nothing wrong with black people on TV, and pronouncing 'ask' as 'aks' isnt confined to colour or creed. there is a solution of course, dont watch eastenders, and dont watch big brother.

FFS = ? text speak?
TBH = ? text speak?

oh, and kids were idiots well before technology.

Why worried? It wasn't a racial rant, it was just pointing out that the youth can't speak properly and part of it stems from a certain culture, which in turn stems from a culture across the pond.

I don't want my kids to say aks, and the point wasn't about my viewing displeasure it was about the state of the language in this country.

And as to prove that it was slightly tongue in cheek I ended with a little bit of irony. Which was obviously lost on you.

obviously.

thought you might have gone down the abbrev route, or anacronym side.

ah well, irony like sarcasm involves delivery and tone, two such things difficult to convey through the medium of the internet.

c'est la vie.

Absolutely, which is why proper English should be spoken. We should be looking at trying to understand the tone of the speech and not wondering what the hell was just said.

I think its a big problem. Or maybe its evolution, but is it getting better? Nope.

tolerance, acceptance, multi culturalism.

no one forces you to watch tv, no one forces you to interact with individuals that use the english language in a troglodite manner. although its a concern, there isnt enough dislike in my being to stretch much further that kopites.

Its nothing new, [SIZE=-1]colloquial language is something that has, and always will exist...unfortunately[/SIZE]

Sure, but mis-education is something else, and Suits - its not the issue of me, its the issue of our children not learning how to talk correctly.
