We're a mid table club and we're buying a player who scored 19 goals last season alone.

So you want a younger player? He'll be crap for 2/3 years before getting good and then subsequently sold.

So you want a better player? Can't I'm afraid. Costs more money and better players won't come to us.

So you want a Left Back? Sorry. Everton just can't see the wood from the trees and won't replace Baines until he's retired probably.

We need a left back, mate.

Bit of a contradiction in your post, 1st paragraph you state his strengths, then you proceed to say you always wanted him gone followed by complaining about Arsenal selling him to another premier league club.
I'm confused
I meant he's actually a good player that will consistently destroy the lesser teams in the PL, that's what I liked about him. The problem is he always demands to be in the starting XI. I would love him to stay at Arsenal but he always kicks up a fuss when he doesn't play. He's also quite poor or inconsistent against the elite teams in CL and PL. Wenger realized that far too late (he brought in Lacazette and booted Walcott out of the team altogether).

Although if he's going to leave, it really has to be abroad. Walcott is the kind of player that will likely inflict damage to us if we face him and more generally in the Premier league. We are no longer a top 4 team, that's the reality. And Everton who are also seeking to be in the top 4, are an immediate threat to our league position. We really can't afford to be strengthening other teams like this, it will come back to hurt us.

Tosun

Lookman Walcott
Gylfi Gueye
N’zonzi

That looks like a forward six that could make things happen for sure

I like Theo and I think he will have a resurgance to the top of his game with us

I cannot stand watching that abomination of a player Yannick Bollasie in the squad..... “he has pace!!”.... so he dosen’t use it he gets the ball eggs the player on closer does his stupid roll over of the ball before trying to take off... 90% of the time he loses posession the other 10% he makes crap decisions and believes the hands on the face and the smiling gasp is enough to be forgiven... see the moment he shot at the end of the derby match for example

Walcott has never shown me any of those poor qualities and Mirrallas couldn’t lace his boots... its going to be like having a CAPABLE Deulofeau

yes, his performance levels against the elite of the CL is a problem I am pleased to say that we can take away right now

No Dave but I'll give my answer.

We shouldn't be buying anyone for right wing. We have Bolasie, Lennon, Lookman and Vlasic already. We only have league games left.

We should be loaning a left back and a midfield passer.

In the summer we should be choosing our new long term manager and letting him work with the new director of football (who shares his vision for the game) and building a new team.

Please leave the thread immediately, there's no room for sense on here.

* I agree with every word, but I'm not overly fond of the term " midfield passer " - " play maker " would've been a better choice x

Oh ok, prolific Theo has hit double figures 4 times in 12 years whilst playing in one of the most attacking teams in the league alongside some of the most creative and dangerous midfielders/forwards the PL has ever seen.

I’m sold
*while rarely being guaranteed a place in the team, and while playing on the wing and while yes, missing some time through injuries (He was on course for a double figures the season he did his cruciate, and the season he returned scored at a rate where if he'd played the whole season would have probably hit double figures)

We are in absolutely no position to be turning our nose up at a proven 1 in 4 winger with lightning pace. Have you seen us attack on the break this season?!

Walcott on the right allows Bolasie to go to his natural left side role, get Gylfi in the middle behind Cenk, jobs a goodun

Any of Lookman Vlasic Lennon or Mirallas would have allowed this move to occur. Allardyce didn’t want it to because he’s an overly cautious fool. He’s not brave enough to drop Rooney but is too scared to go without two holding mids so Siggurdson ends up on the left and Gueye Schneiderlin horror axis lives on.

Unfortunately Rooney will be shoehorned into that team somewhere, and Lookman won't play due us essentially needing to use Sigurdsson as a second left back, as is happening at the moment, to support the inept Martina. So that's Rooney slowing all our attacks down, and Sigurdsson horribly used. Two positions completely wasted. Aside from that, I agree that'd be a decent midfield

I'd even accept Bolasie in the side if it means Sigurdsson is used properly and Walcott is on the right. That'd do nicely, that's easily middle-to-seventh place-in-the-table standard.
