...I never have a strong opinion on individual players because it’s up to the Manager to determine if they are the type who fit the strategy. I might be wrong, but I think Walcott remains England’s youngest full international so he has pedigree. He’s got pace and is a goalscoring threat.

I always ask if the game seems important to a new player. I have my doubts about Walcott busting a gut to play. He looks on easy street to me. Footy life is comfortable. I might be way wrong on that but it’s the impression I have. I also have concerns about his injury record. He appears to spend plenty of time on the treatment table and that trait tends to continue through a player’s career.
 
Wish we still had Del. We would have pace to burn going forward.

Yes I miss Del, I blame Koeman for that (and many other things). I'd like him to come back in the future, he always seemed to want to succeed here, I can't see Sam getting him back though. But Sam won't be here for ever.
