He’s very quick and a good finisher. He’s not gonna stop being able to run just because he turns 30.

Mate of mine is an arsenal fan and reckons he's utterly hopeless.Of course we have a choice. Were Dele Alli, Eriksen, Lloris and Vertonghen cast offs from the top 6?
People on here are just desperate to see new players signed so they don't actually think through the ramifications of signing someone like Walcott. An injury prone lad whose best days are well behind him, arriving here on ridiculous wages. £20m less to spend on players that will actually improve our team. Signings like this just cement our place in not being anywhere good enough to challenge the status quo.
Speak to any Arsenal fan and ask them how they feel about Theo Walcott leaving and that will tell you all you need to know.
Look for a progressive manager, we had that in Martinez.Agree with this. It's one of those lazy arse signings. I'd rather we gave Lookman the chance he deserves.
The season is in tatters anyway. Just save the cash and do some proper scouting for the summer. Hopefully by then Jiffy Bag man will have slung his hook and we get a proper manager in with progressive ideas and who wants to build a team around talented young players.
Moshiri's words at the AGM were instructive: “With the mess we were in, we needed a manager with a tidy football brain. Uncomplicated, self-assured."
A man brought in until a mess was cleared.
He wont be here next season.
It’s like my champ manager line up from 2006Front four of
Tosun
Bolasie Gylfi Walcott
Sounds decent to be fair. Wayne at CM with Gana, smash most teams that.
No Bryan. That's just silly. It’s like my champ manager line up from 2006
Dunno why,but Walcott goes to say the rs/spurs/utd,people would be accentuating the positives,he comes here and most blues seem happy to pull the deal to bits, drives me nuts!
I don't know if Walcott is the right guy for us but he may turn out to be good! The jury is out as far as I'm concerned but I'm happy to give him a go. I'm not over excited by the prospect. However, what you said about not attracting the best players because they want to go to a top six side-I totally agree with you. I think one way to counteract this problem would be to pay big bucks for a top manager. If you get a good one then they can sometimes attract the better players. Some people might say that we can't attract some of the top managers but I know in life that money can open doors. I am just not convinced with Big Sam and we are building a team partly around his ideas. I hope we get a new manager in and ready for next season. Big Sam has done ok but I want us to be pushing for a top 4 spot. We will never do this with him.Exactly
Bolaise and walcott would be one of the quickest outlets in the premier in fairness. Both would start. It woyld change us from one of the slowest teams to having 2 very quick outlets

He invested time and effort in the Acadamy
Footballing blue print was introduced at all playing levels
Strange we got rid of a manager who got us to two semi finals and this still wasn't good enough.
The problem we have now is no manager will be given time to be progressive, as we have a percentage of the fan base who think we should be winning silverware and signing Messi type players.
Patience is needed but we know that isn't going to happen

Silva for one. Tuchel is still out there. Flores if he doesn't take the Stoke job. It wont be hard to find a better manager than Allardyce, tbh.Who’s available this summer?
Not being difficult or anything just interested to know.
Given our last few appointments have been from teams finishing below us in the league I’m not overly optimistic of our pulling power.
