2018/19 Theo Walcott

Heard Mirallas was rolling up to Silva’s house in his gold Bentley whilst he wasn’t there to try and chat up his Mrs. As he arrived Theo was there creeping out the window, shouting ‘yeah I got a bad foot blud but the rest of me works just fine’. That’s two wingers Silva’s fallen out with now but it was Bolasie who grassed up Theo so now he’s staying and will be captain against Wolves.

If... big IF... it's the case, then Silva and Brands both need a headcheck as well.

Sort it out. No time for petty feuds.

Show discipline and who is the boss, obviously, but he's one of our best players and this is no time to be burning bridges both ways.
I don’t care who it is. If you let one player get away with taking the mick then they’ll all do it.
Nope. Wrong attitude to have.

I highly doubt it's true, but if this is the case then the best course of action is to sit down with said player, ensure the authority is in place, but come to a mature, amicable resolution.

Not throw the toys out of the pram, which only detracts from the team.
I disagree. You can’t make allowances for certain players just because of who they are.

If he’s said he needs an extended break due to injury then it makes sense for them to ask him to report back to get it checked out. Not sure what they’ve done wrong here? Albeit this all seems to be based on unconfirmed reports.
Pretty sure Fergie fell out with the vast majority of his players at one point or another, including Rooney, Ronaldo, G.Neville, Cantona, Keane.

Only Beckham was actually sold following an argument, and even that was quite a while after the case. And, they had Ronaldo coming in as a replacement, which is why Fergie cashed in on a player who was at that time 27/28.

He was one of the best man managers - probably the best man manager - and knew how to strike the balance.

Jose uses players as much as players try to use a manager.

Pep has done it with Toure. He's done it with Aguero.

I think there's a balance to be struck between discipline and knowing that a player is good for the team. You have to show them who is in charge, but I think Koeman (and to an extent Martinez with the likes of Distin, Eto'o etc) have shown that bombing players out isn't the right way to go either.

Cant see it being true.

If it was then Silva and Brands would just bin off Walcott.

Hes not a top player and is 30 by the time next season starts, on a hudge wedge. Not getting us top 4 so...

All its highlighted is that the bloke is injury prone.

If we could sell and add £15mil ish for Lozano or similar, i wouldnt blink.

If the rumours are true this is what happens when you keep the bad apples in the dressing room.

Mirallas
Williams
Schneirderlin

The above clique will basically take the mick and it doesn't take much for others to start acting up if they dont like a new managers rules/methods.

If you include Niasse and his 'supposed' antics its like night and day compared to our squad under Moyes minus the odd waster (Van Der Meyde / Royston)

..i’ve been reading this rumour for a few days now and it doesn’t make sense.

If a professional footballer has an injury he would expect to be at his club for evaluation and treatment, he wouldn’t expect to sit at home for a week. It just doesn’t make sense.
Completely agree particularly as I’m sure we have all read books & newspaper articles which say players report back to be weighed etc
