Player Valuation: £50m
He had a decent game. Take the emotional nature of that game away and that's pretty obvious.
He had a decent first half, but was woeful in the second half along with the rest of them!

Look. Walcott has some tangible qualities i.e. pace, experience, the ability to run through defences and scatter them. If he gets binned off, do you expect Everton to purchase a load of brand new players all of high quality?
Klopp got the likes of Origi, Wijnaldum, Henderson etc. to play well. Even Mane, Salah and Firmino came from clubs lower down. They were all wasteful, inconsistent and could disappear entirely. Yet look where they are now.
Walcott should be given time under a top manager like Carlo to be the complete player. He reminds me of Raheem Sterling under Rodgers. Pep got to work on him and he blossomed.
(Except we also sold players in that time)20m for Walcott
30m for Iwobi from Arsenal reserves, yeah!
27m for Tosun!
20m for Schneiderlin!
30m for Keane!
25m for Bolasie!
10m for Sandro!
(onto actual decent signings 20m for Gomes, (30m for Gbamin - maybe he'll be ok), 25m for Mina, 30m for Pickford!
Just about a smooth 270m spent there.
With all that money we should be established as a top four side.
Imagine any club in the established top 6 even considering buying one of those first 7 players I mentioned - and we went and bought them ALL! lol We didn't even have any competition for them because everybody else, rightly, realised they are utter turd, so we "swooped in" and signed them.(Except we also sold players in that time)
Its hard to improve if you sell your best (or even just your good) players, because the chances of a new signing becoming one of your best players are actually pretty low. That's true at all clubs, not just everton.
I don't disagree with you about the quality of the players, but the idea that the money we've spent over the last 3 years should have bought us top 4 is total tosh.Imagine any club in the established top 6 even considering buying one of those first 7 players I mentioned - and we went and bought them ALL! lol We didn't even have any competition for them because everybody else, rightly, realised they are utter turd, so we "swooped in" and signed them.
