I’m not sure what offends me the most: Iwobi above Bernard or that Maximin is even on the list.
Walcott is a useful squad member.
We have paid a substantial fee for him and would be unlikely to get a lot of that back if we sold him now.
He doesn't start every game but is a useful person to have on the bench if he doesn't start. His injury record has been good and we probably would have to pay another 20m -30 m to get somebody similar and even more for somebody better.
If he stays as part of the squad for another two or three seasons we could say the transfer was value for money.
We need at least twenty outfield players they can't all start every week. We need a few who will not let you down when played but not demand a transfer if left on the bench.
I think Walcott is doing well at the moment. He never was a lethal finisher anyway.

In my book not a very good crosser either.
That simple square pass in the kids derby was the final nail in the coffin for me. " that dangerous run" in behind the does just isn't enough.

I'd love to know how many shots he fires right at the on rushing keeper? Hasn't he got a chip or a different finish? He seems to do the same shot two or three times a game? Brainless
