Anything extraordinary presented usually in the first third of a film, for instance, a mind reading dog or the ability to crush diamonds with bare hands or knowing the ancient Chinese secret of moving really fast on foot over water, will, without fail, be the one thing that saves the day at the very end. The bad guys/aliens/plague/disaster never ever saw the tap dancing panda that can hypnotize anything - coming ever!
