BTW, Meunier: €7m Brugge let go of him for to PSG. Unreal.
We should have gone full on Everbelg about 4-5 years ago when they were cheap.

Dump harry KaneAnalysing the team selection that Southgate favoured, based on World Cup performance, my view of the England team for the future is:
Pickford (keep) Trippier (Keep) Walker (Keep) Stones (Keep) Maguire (Keep) Young (Dump) Henderson (Dump) Ali (Dump) Lingard (Keep) Sterling (Dump) Kane (Dump).
I have no answer who we should replace the 'dumps' with.
The set piece goals were never going to continue like they did and he made no adjustments. What bothers me is this idea that it is the start of bigger things for England.

Potential team to build on for the Euros:
GK: Pickford
RCB: Walker
CB: Stones
LCB: Maguire
RWB: Trippier
LWB: Rose
CM: Chalobah
CM: Lewis Cook
AM: RLC
AM: Lingard
CF: Kane
I just thought he's simply too good for this team mate, they don't deserve him.…Ooops you forgot Alexander-Arnold the worlds best right back ever - expect a visit and a stern side-mouthed talking from Danny Murphy very soon....
Hello mate, Germany lost 66.666666666% of their games in this WC.Aye, important point this which I've barely seen mentioned anywhere in mainstream discussion.
Those setpiece-tactics were cute and deffo worked up to a point, but as with any new-fangled playing style the opposition soon cottons on and the game is up. England were honestly woeful when it came to open play. Harry 'Golden Boots' Kane included.
Plus England have that funny record I think someone else mentioned: no other nation has managed to lose 3 times despite reaching the semis of a major international tournament.
But still, they'll always have that 6-1 against Panama

Just read an article on Sterling that he should be looking to model his game after Hazard's game. Which I suppose in theory is not a bad idea I suppose. For me he's more Shaun Wright Phillips than Hazard and I don't think he has it in him to be much more than that.

Hate to say it but I think Gomez might be a better long term option than Walker, would love Mason to get in their as wellHolgate > Walker
Seriously Walker had a mare in the semifinal.
