Tell you what, Vellios is a curious one.

I championed him a lot. But something has defo happened there.

I heard rumours about us having to pay more on appearances. That he had a fall out with Moyes. That type of thing, but not even being in the under 21's is weird.

Everytime I see him on Twitter he's on bloody holiday or back in Greece!

McManaman is 22 and has only started 8 Pl games, despite being their best player.

Miyachi never started a game outside the league cup.

McCarthy I'll ever give you but ultimately it's no better a record than Moyes, and given that Moyes hates young players and actually had a good team and not relegation fighters, I can't say I'm that excited.

Lets hope he does play the youth but he certainly hasn't earned a reputation for doing so.

So far, 3 of the 4 mentioned have been given a chance to impress, with Barkley coming straight into the first team, Oviedo showing that he's definitely good enough, and Duffy going out on loan to get some much needed playing time.
