We'll sign someone who has premier league credentials

Moyes, Allardyce, Silva or Dyche most likely

We will not get a big name in like Tuchel.

1. No big name is going to want to come here given how [Poor language removed] we are.
2. We have paid out huge money to Koeman and Martinez after firing them, going for a less expensive alternative makes sense if it goes tits up again.
3. Bill will be shitting it and looking for 'stability', the ambition of going for top 4-6 is long gone. This is our new reality, we need to go full tory and become 'strong and stable'.

Mr Tuchel could certainly do with a few bowls of Scouse.

Yeah hate to agree with Joey Barton on anything, but this doesn't have a prayer. Doesn't make sense for him.

We are in a better situation than Spurs where in the league when they hired Ramos - who at the time was very much a rated manager mate - fresh of two EL wins with Sevilla, fact he was rated that highly he got the Madrid job straight after being sacked by spurs...

As for making sense to him, depends doesn't it really, he's already managed the second best team in Germany, Bayern look like wanting the Hoffenheim coach instead, any other is a massive step down in that league for him.

Prem is by far the highest profile league and by far the highest paying for managers too, the rs, City, United and Spurs jobs aren't coming available any-time soon, Arsenal is 2 years away from being (at least) and Chelsea supposedly fancy the Napoli manager.

IF he rates himself highly - then you reckon he wouldn't see some of the players here as far more capable than they are showing, and with investment and returning players in January - very much back himself to massively improve the league position?

Oh and 6m quid compared to his Dortmund salary of 1m euros is bloody tempting especially when the price for failing in this league rarely damages a respected foreign managers future job offers either.

So to save us from 'relegation, the 4 names you put up - three of them have been relegated from the division in their illustrious history?

1. Big names don't like getting massive salaries now then?
2. The fact that the price of failure at us will get you 18m for one seasons work should we sack you is a negative now for a manager?
3. Bill doesn't hire or fire the managers anymore mate - least he doesn't make those decisions, else we wouldn't have sacked Martinez, wouldn't have hired Koeman and wouldn't have fired Koeman this quickly either

I kind of agree with you mate, but its not going to happen either way. Mind you I remember you claiming Mourinho was realistic post Martinez, so maybe you are a bit more delusional than I've given you credit for as you do usually speak sense.

Flavour of the month hey Ste.

He wasn't exactly an unknown at Mainz, don't understand why people seem to act like they never heard of him before last week lol, generally following on from a rated manabger and far outperforming them at the same club like Mainz will get you very noticed
