One other thing without my red dots I've got along with people better. They listen to my opinion more and I haven't argued as much. I stand by, if it goes back to the old system I will boycott the forum as soon as it gets abused again. That's probably what some people want anyway and it wouldnt bother them. However it would identify that the forum administration is all for cliques sects and Internet bullying.

No you've got it all wrong. Rep is fine.

But older members having the ability to rep someone into oblivion is not. The whole points system should be removed.

That's what it's about we all have opinions but it's supposed to be about evertonians enjoying discussion about everton the crazy thing is there's plenty of areas off the main forum for "cliquey stuff" there's even a private lounge ffs.

Plus it puts off newbies seeing bullying cos lets have it right thats what it amounts to - well done to the powers that be for stopping it.

There's people on here for a social experience rather than talking football. That's fine if you want cyber friends. However most people including me are on here for one thing only. To talk football and the occasional world issues - if I'm interested.

I wouldn't mind the old rep system if it wasn't being abused to completely mark someone. Everyone should have a level playing field whether you pay £20 or not.

I think Brennan hit the nail on the head. A 1 point only system would allow people to redeem the self and get out of the red. Giving someone the ability to bomb someone with 5000 points Everytime is just over the top. That's what was happening. It P****d me off and I argued more because of it.

Perhaps we could have an additional area called "Victim Central" where a poster could invite the usual suspects to be snarky, off topic and personal..... have to be anonymous of course to replace the good old neg rep days.

Thing is mate this system covers the bases if you disagree vehemently you can if you're one for wholeheartedly agreeing again you can. The issue with cumulative points of any kind is it acts as a target (think you referred to this a few weeks ago).

Any encouragement for nob'ead behaviour should be avoided.
