Pretty basic football management is to start by stopping the conceding of goals.

You don't concede you don't lose.

We could score 8 each game with you magic winger or play maker feeding Lukaku, we'd still concede 9.

Footballs biggest commodity is by far and away scoring and creating goals, that's why player like Ronaldo, Bale and Suarez go for £70m+ and the best goal keepers cost £20m at most.

For a club in our position it's about balancing a budget, if you want a top class keeper we'd have to make him our second highest signing and that's never going to happen while the squad is so short elsewhere and we've not got a crazy billionaire.

Just because we haven't millions to spend, and I agree would rather us spend money in the attacking side of the team

Doesn't mean you except mediocrity

There are a number of better keepers in the prem than Howard
That didn't cost a fortune

What did hart cost city when he came from Shrewsbury

I think Hart only cost a few hundred grand but we couldn't afford him at the time. Pretty sure Moyes had scouted him and was interested.

Robles needs a run - fans like you deserve your opinion on TH - but if a keeper like Robles keeps three clean sheets by doing everything TH does not do Ie commands his area catches balls, punches well - the defence look better with Robles so let's drop him for our alledged no 1 TH , and he plays pants cost us 3 points in two games Imo!
